I am currently accepting new students! I teach students as young as 5-years-old and up to any age. Contact me to set up a trial lesson!
As a teacher, I provide personalized music and techniques to each individual's interests and needs. I help with and encourage goal setting for each student. I teach efficient and engaging practice techniques. I make time for sight reading and chamber music each lesson through cello duets. I also encourage students to listen to all kinds of cello music, and offer listening assignments for different age groups. Most importantly, I strive to instill a love for music and learning, while having fun!

Contract:
There is no sign up fee. A semester contract will be signed at the beginning of each semester.

Lesson Options:
- Half hour lessons are recommended for beginner to intermediate level students
- 45-minute lessons are recommended for intermediate to advanced level students
- Hour lessons are recommended for advanced level students
Lessons Include:
- Learning the parts of the cello and bow
- Correct playing technique
- Note reading
- Exploring musicality and expression
- Performance etiquette and recital performance opportunities
- Basic theory, including some ear training
- A succession of musical repertoire, with supplemental material
- Music leadership skills
